5/16/11 breakfast

I started this week off with a black coffee (0 calories), a large banana (120 calories), and the usual Luna bar (180 calories).

5/14/11 brunch

Brunch today was at a local diner near my house. Although it is not recommended to skip breakfast, I usually find myself in a breakfast-skipping situation about once a week (due to sleeping in). At brunch today I had an egg white Western omelet with onions, bell peppers, diced ham (no cheese), and a side of home fries. When all is said and done (meaning, sautéing the veggies in butter, frying the potatoes in butter or oil, and likely using butter to cook the eggs) this meal likely come out to be 700 calories. I had about 75% of everything on my plate, bringing my calories for this brunch to around 525.

5/13/11 breakfast

Breakfast Friday was a Luna Bar(180 calories). I knew I should get something in my stomach before heading out for a long, hot day at the golf course.

5/12/11 breakfast

Breakfast today is my usual breakfast of champions:  a LARGE black coffee, a Luna bar, and a fuji apple (300 calories). Just enough caffeine and nutrients to get me through my morning (I hope).

Breakfast today was a Luna bar (180 calories), a fuji apple (100 calories), and an orange (80 calories). A great was to kick off the week, and make up for my lack of fruit servings over the weekend!

I started my mothers day out on the right foot by having a healthy breakfast. I had my usual apple and Luna Bar (300 calories all together).
