Cake fat = bad fat, right?
Not necessarily! Today’s recipe features a cake made with avocados! Healthy fats! Avocados, with their mono- and polyunsaturated fats (MUFA’s & PUFA’s), are a healthy stand-in for foods rich in saturated fat. According to a study that appeared in a journal published by the American Diabetes Association, a diet rich in monounsaturated fats (MUFA’s) may help reduce abdominal fat better than a carbohydrate rich diet.
